Understanding autism begins with listening. Listening to parents, professionals, and most importantly, to the unique voices and experiences of autistic individuals.
The event was very helpful. We learned a lot from other parents’ experiences, the more we hear, the more we understand. Theme-based discussions could make it even more valuable. While we usually communicate with parents in our own area, Golden Carpet gave us the opportunity to connect with parents from other areas as well, broadening our perspective and support network.
